How to Open a GCI Account?

GCI offers 3 account types for client accounts depending on the trading platform:

MetaTrader accounts offer a wider range of products such as currencies, stock indices, crude oil, metals and stocks, MetaTrader software platform and ECN or traditional execution methods. Although the default lot size is 100000 currency units, traders can choose to trade as little as 0.10 lots.

ActTrader accounts are ideal for traders who want to trade currencies and other major financial products with a low minimum transaction size and a user-friendly interface.

They can be distinguished into two account options: Forex accounts and CFD/Stock accounts. Forex accounts are ideal for traders who want to trade currencies and other major financial products with a low minimum transaction size.

GCI offers a 30-day risk-free trading demo account with $50000 in virtual funds and can invest in more than 60 foreign exchange pairs, stock CFDs, indices, commodities and other markets. You can find and click on the “Open a free Practice Account”, “Try a Free Demo”, and “Try a Free-risk Account” positions, and fill in the required information such as account type, email address, phone number, etc. to experience the GCI demo account for free.

Open a GCI Trading Account Step by Step

You only need 4 steps to complete the GCI Financial account opening, which will takes about 5 minutes.

Step 1: Submit the application, such as Select the account type (MetaTrader Account/ActTrader Account/cTrader Account)

Step 2: Fill in the basic information of the trader, such as identity and address verification.

• Driving license
• Other government-issued photo ID.
• Proof of identity: GCI accepts a valid passport, valid driving license or other valid government-issued photo ID (showing photo, personal information, signature, date and place of issue, and serial number);
• Address verification: A separate document such as a recent (within the last 3 months) bank statement or utility bill (gas, water, electricity or landline) to verify your permanent residential address.

Step 3: Agree to the disclosure and agreement, that is, electronically conduct business and risk disclosure and trader account letter and trader agreement

Step 4: Confirmation and account funding, to start live trading in the GCI account, there are two more steps to complete:

GCI will notify you by email as soon as your application is processed and the account is opened. Processing and approval are usually completed within one business day after receiving your proof of identity. You can then fund your account via bank wire and crypto. GCI only offers the bank deposit option to eligible customers for amounts exceeding €2000 or equivalent.

Upon receipt of your application along with the necessary documents, GCI will proceed with the processing of your account within a span of 2 business days.

Methods, Fees, and Processing Time

Minimum account opening requirement is $500 or equivalent. GCI provides deposit and withdrawal methods, including Bank Wire and Crypto.

• Bank Wire. Electronic bank transfers via your bank. Funds are typically deposited into your GCI account within one business day.
• Deposit via Crypto. Accepts BTC, ETH and Stablecoins, no limits, no fees, processed within 30-60 minutes.

GCI only offers the bank deposit option to eligible customers for amounts exceeding €2000 or equivalent. Deposits above 10000 USD or EUR will be subject to a 50% bonus margin. Deposits below this amount will be subject to the regular February 2025 bonus margin of 25%.

Incomplete withdrawal forms that are not submitted online and signed and emailed to us will not be processed.
