Reason for this visit

Given Cambodia's high dependence on foreign exchange reserves, it is inevitably highly open to the investment, with almost zero threshold for the foreign investment. Relying on the the opening-up policy, Cambodia has sustained economic growth, rapid expansion of domestic production capacity, and the corresponding improvement of national infrastructure and financial investment regulations, all of which are conducive to its growth as the next "financial center". Recently, investors have called to ask for more exposure of licensed dealers in Cambodia whose actual addresses are inconsistent with the regulatory addresses. Based on the feedback from investors and the work plan of the survey team, the survey team are going to visit Richwill Japan, a licensed dealer in Cambodia, to learn more about the actual situation.

On-site visit

According to the regulatory information, the dealer Richwill Japan is licensed by the Cambodian regulator and located at TBulding No.148(ABC), 3C Floor, Mao Tse Toung Boulevard (St.245), Phum 3, SangKat Toul Tom Poung 2, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The survey team thus decided to have an on-site visit to this regulatory address for confirmation.

The office address displayed by the dealer referred to the building near the residential area of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Arriving at the destination, there was only one high-rise building where the dealer was not found. There was no office area in the vicinity, along which were the street stores, residential areas and an international school. Thus, the surveyors judged that the business address disclosed by the dealer was incorrect.

Conclusion

The survey team visited the dealer Richwill Japan in Cambodia as planned and did not find the dealer's logo on its publicly displayed address. It was supposed that the dealer did not have an office at the address as well as normal operations. Please be prudent when trading with this broker.
