Reason for this visit

Foreign exchange market is the worlds largest financial market, with daily trading volume hitting trillions of dollars. The major forex trading centers are London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, etc., where USD is the most traded currency. In recent years, an increasing number of investors and institutions have been attracted to the market, especially the highly developed, liquid US forex market with a slew of participants as the forex brokers gain steam. In an attempt to help investors or practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the US, WikiFX survey team decides to go to the country for on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit forex broker PATRIOT CAPITAL as planned according to its regulatory address that 1900 16th Street Mall, Denver, Colorado.

The investigators came to 1900 16th Street Mall in Colorado, the US on October 24, 2023, and located a modern commercial building in the heart of neighborhood and office zone in Denver. The building is adjacent to the well-established Denver Union Station. It‘s worth noting that the world renowned social media giant Facebook’s office in Denver is also located in the building.

After accessing the building for further investigation, the survey personnel spotted a digital directory in the foyer. Without the detailed information concerning floor and unit number of PATRIOT CAPITAL, the team had to search one by one from the directory, but got nothing about the broker. According to the security guards, they had never heard of the company. In the meantime, people werent permitted to enter the building without an access card or an appointment in advance due to the stringent security reasons.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that PATRIOT CAPITAL doesnt have a presence at the place.

Conclusion

The survey team went to the US to visit forex broker PATRIOT CAPITAL, but didn‘t find the company at its regulatory address. This suggests that the broker doesn’t have a physical business office at the location. Therefore, investors are advised to make a sensible decision based on a comprehensive consideration.
