Huatai Securities was established in May 1991, and was listed at Shanghai Stock Exchange (601688.SH) and HKEX (6886.HK) on February 26, 2010 and June 1, 2015 respectively. 

Its wholly-funded subsidies include Huatai (Shanghai) Asset Management, Huatai International Financial Holding, Huatai Zijin Investment and Huatai Innovation Investment. Huatai Security, Huatai Futures and Jiansu Equity Exchange Center. It holds shares of South Fund Management, Huatai Pinebridge Fund Management, Gimpo Industrial Investment Fund Management etc. 

Office

According to the regulatory information, Huatai Financial Holdings (Hong Kong) was located at Room 5808-12, Central Centre, 99 Queen’s Street Central, HK. The surveyors visited the broker.

The surveyors found Central Centre on Queen’s Street Central according to regulatory information and GPS. The Centre was quite large and high with malls and office buildings in it. The Centre looked spectacular. The surveyos made much effort to find No,3 elevator that only weni to 41F-60F and arrived at 58F then.

The surveyors found a floor directory beside the elevator and were informed from the directory that Room 5808-12 belonged to Huatai Financial.

The surveyors then walked back and forth in the aisle to find Room 5808-12.

The surveyors stopped at the door of the broker’s office and had a full view of the broker’s logo, the big screen and the black sofa through the glass door. As was estimated, there were about 30 cubicles in the office.

The surveyors then walked to the door of another office and found Huatai Financial’s logo and a big photo of Central Centre’s exterior. Huatai Financial had many offices in Central Centre, which mirrored its large scale.

Conclusion

The visit by surveyors confirmed that the real address of the HK licensed broker Huatai Financial Holding was the same with its licensed address. As was informed, the broker held a futures trading license (regulation  number:AOK809）issued by SFC. In the end, discretion is advised with regard to investment.
