Reason for this visit

There are a large number of regulated brokers in Cyprus, which inevitably leads to a mixed situation. In order to provide investors with more comprehensive information, the survey team visited ProbusFX, a broker based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Regulatory information

According to the regulatory information, the broker ProbusFX has the MM license issued by CySEC and located at Archiepiskopou Makariou 205, Victory House, 5th floor, 3030 Limassol, Cyprus. The survey team thus decided to have an on-site visit to this regulatory address for confirmation.

On-site visit

The survey team followed the regulatory address and arrived at an office building named Victory House located at Archiepiskopou Makariou III 205, Limassol, Cyprus. 

On the directory outside the building, the survey team saw the the logo of SquaredDirect, but didn’t find any information about ProbusFX.  

To further confirm whether the broker ProbusFX is operated here, the team came to the 5th floor of office building. Similarly, they only saw the the logo of SquaredDirect, but didn’t find any information about ProbusFX.  

Conclusion

It is confirmed after the team’s site visit that there is no office of ProbusFX at the address included in the regulatory information. In other words, the broker’s regulatory information is not true. After confirmation with SquaredDirect, it was learned that ProbusFX was originally a brand of it and had no longer existed. Please be prudent if trading with this broker.
