Reason for this visit

Foreign exchange market is among the world‘s largest market in daily trading volume. And the UAE boasts relatively developed financial system and friendly business environment, attracting an increasing number of foreign investors to the market. In order to help investors and practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of the country’s foreign exchange dealers, WikiFX survey team is going to the country for on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, WikiFX investigation team went to Dubai, UAE to visit the foreign exchange broker Century Financial (company name: Century Financial Consultancy LLC) as planned according to the regulatory address that Office 601A, Emaar Square Building 4, Downtown-Dubai.

The survey personnel came to the Emaar Square Building 4 in downtown Dubai on July 20. The 8-storey commercial building is situated in Emaar Square space near the Burj Khalifa, the worlds tallest building, the Boulevard Plaza, and the Dubai Mall. The Dubai Mall is a 5-minute drive and a 10-minute walk in the over ground metro link.

After entering the target building, which boasted high quality office space where all units including public area, store room, and reception room were separated by glass, the investigators found from the company directory in the lobby that room 601 was occupied by company “Century Financial Consultancy LLC”.

And then the survey team arrived at the 6th floor via elevator, and spotted Century Financialy‘s name and logo on the glass door of its office. Unfortunately, the team wasn’t allowed to conduct an internal visit to the company. From the reception area, there were about 4 rooms in the office.

After an on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the broker does have a physical presence in the location.

Conclusion

The investigators went to Dubai, UAE to visit forex broker Century Financial as scheduled, and found the brokers company name at its registered regulatory address. It indicates that the broker has a physical business office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a sensible choice based on a comprehensive consideration.
