The Avenue, Sydney, South Australia, Australia
Survey Reason
Recently, the inspection team received many investors’ phone calls with the hope of more Australia licensed brokers whose real addresses were inconsistent with those declared by the supervision agency exposed. According to their feedback, the investigation staff decided to set forth for the Australia licensed broker CDG to know it more directly.
Company Building
According to the regulatory information, the address of the Australia licensed company CDG was: Tower 1 One International Towers' Level 35, 100 Barangaroo Avenue, Barangaroo NSW 2000. The investigation staff visited the spot.
They found the landmark building adjacent to the Darling Harbor without much effort.
Exclusive
The moment they entered the lobby, they saw the floor guide, from which they knew that the 35th floor belonged to the shared office of Servcorp. But they didn’t find any information concerning CDG. To ensure the quality of the investigation, they came to the 35th floor by elevator, and learned from the receptionist of the office that CDG moved out in September of this year.
Summary
It has been proved by the on-the-site investigation of the staff that the actual address of the Australia licensed broker CDG is inconsistent with that declared by the supervision agency. Although the broker holds a STP license (332/17) and an Investment Advisory License (224485) issued by CySEC and ASIC respectively, its Australia office has moved out and the new address remains unclear.
