Inspection Reason

In recent, there are many calls from investors asking for more disclosure of brokers whose real office address were not in accordance with the regulatory information. Given the feedback from the investors,the investigation team was abot to pay a site visit to GFI in this session.

According to the regulatory information, the UK licensed company of GFI was located at Broadgate West 1 Snowden Street London ec2a 2dq  United Kingdom. The investigation team paid a site visit to the office.

The surveyors came to Broadgate West 1 Snowden Street according to the regulatory information and GPS navigation.

The surveyors walked from one end of Broadgate West 1 Snowden Street to the other end of the street and not found any office building or broker.

Conclusion

The site investigation by the investigation staff confirmed that the GFI doesn’t has an office in UK. As was informed, the purported regulation of FCA with regulation number 184786 cannot rule out GFI’s suspicion of being a clone broker.Investors should therefore choose the broker carefully and pay attention to fund safety.
