UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is outraged by an air strike in Libya that hit a detention center, killing dozens of migrants and refugees, and called for an independent investigation, his spokesman said on Wednesday.
Guterres also noted that the exact coordinates of the migrant detention center had been provided to the warring parties, U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said.
The U.N. Security Council was also due to meet on Libya behind closed doors later on Wednesday, diplomats said.
