BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The next head of the European Union's executive, Ursula von der Leyen, said on Tuesday she would work “in a constructive way” with any new British prime minister.
Speaking after being narrowly confirmed to take over at the helm of the European Commission from November, von der Leyen declined to say whether she would rather see the favorite Boris Johnson or foreign minister Jeremy Hunt become the new British leader.
