Inspection Reason

Recently, many investors called the inspection team expressing their hope for  the inspection team exposing Australian brokers with fake addresses. Given that, the investigators went to HV in Australia for a closer look.

Company Building

According to the regulatory information, the address of HV in Australia was 6 /1 Macquarie Pl Sydney NSW 2000. The investigation staff visited the spot.

The building indicated by the regulatory information was an office and shopping building complex adjacent to the beach, whose location was conspicuous. The survey staff easily found this modern building with a gorgeous appearance.

After entering the building, the surveyors found no information about HV on the floor guide. According to the previous survey experience, companies that did not display on the floor guide may also have offices in the building. In order to get more information, the survey personnel took the elevator to the 36th floor and found the whole floor was a sharing office. After communicating with the reception staff, they learned that HV did not work in the building.

Survey Conclusion

Based on the field survey, it was verified that HV’s address in Australia was inconsistent with that from the regulatory information. The broker’s Authorized Representative License (regulatory No.0012559931) issued by Australian Securities and Investments Commission was suspected to be a clone.
