Inspection Reason

It is expected by many investors for exposure of more Japan licensed brokers whose real address were not the same with its regulation address. According to investors’ feedback and the surveyors’ working schedule, the surveyor went to Min-fx to know more about its interior.

Office

According to the regulation information, the Japanese licensed broker was located at 7th floor, Hall 3, Sumitomo East New Bridge,1-10-14, Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Sumitomo East New Bridge. The surveyor visited the broker.

The surveyor found an office building according to the regulation information and the online map. The building was not high but its decoration was basically OK. The office building was the surveyor’s destination.

The surveyor then entered the building and knew from the floor directory at the 1st floor that the broker’s office was at the 7th floor. So the surveyor took the elevator to the 7th floor and found that there were four companies including traders, nexttop, etc but Min-fx’s office was not at the floor after walking around the aisle of the floor.

Conclusion

The visit by surveyors confirmed that the broker’s real address was not the same with its regulation address. The broker held a retail forex license issued by FSA but its suspicion of being a clone broker couldn’t be ruled out. Investors are advised to resort to their good judgement after consulting the said above.
