Life story 1: Forex is not only about success

I'm familiar with trading from many years ago. Everybody watched Hollywood movies about Wall Street, different trade markets, etc. Especially in the country where oil is an important part of the economy, news about Brent or light oil is the main news everyday. Last years there's a rapid change in oil prices. Changes in oil price gave me an idea to use this as a profit.

Unfortunately, Azerbaijani market doesn't have much literature about forex and trading. Even some people say, you cannot trade in Azerbaijan if you don't know Russian or English. But we survive in this big forest and interest in forex and cryptocurrency is increasing every day.

My start was very sudden. In one of the local projects I've met one man who's working as a PR specialist and we were sitting next to each other. He was coming to work very early and sometimes talking about his own online competitions, different prizes he won, bets etc. When I asked to learn more, he showed me Ducascopy, a modern platform with a lot of different functionalities and trading options. Maybe that was not the best place where I could start with my own journey but it occupied my huge interest.

I started to learn more, understand different terminology, read books about forex and trading. Started to search about local communities and found that even in my own community, there's a lot of people who are actually trading or mining. I'm a man with a sensitive position to technological innovations. This is very important, to use modern technology and innovation in all my beginnings and forex also wasn't an exception. Some people trade with individuals which sounds wild for me but still has some market place.

I found a way to trade online with my mobile phone. IQ option was the first application where I registered. It's very easy to use a mobile phone as a trading option, as you can watch the trends, make new bids and stop anytime. A new function of one minute trading was also so good. puting max buy limit or minimum sell limit was also very useful. And from the first trade I earned 49 USD with just 5 USD investment.

One of my weak points was that I was worried a lot and afraid of loss. That's why I was doing very short trading sessions. Withdraw immediately money and wasting time just watching lines. This also opened one more bigger challenge. After the second or third withdrawal, the application sends a message about technical issues and blocking withdrawal function for a few days.

I didn't pay attention to that as I was glad that I won't be able to withdraw so fast. But it was wrong. My one more weak point was that I didn't check my broker and blocking withdrawals is the main cheat of this kind of application. I start to doubt after the second or third repetition of this issue. Afterwards even a button of withdrawal escaped for some time. it several times was giving error messages and bank account issues. In the end I lost all my money and stopped using it.

One more recommendation for new users is that forex is a very serious platform and has to be taken seriously. It is a full-time job full of information, research and everyday development. This is a serious activity where you should give passion as you can give to any other job or activity.

And the most important is an investment. I was putting 5 or 10 dollars hoping to get a million and this is not really possible. You already need to have a normal amount for start, ability to optionally invest time by time and grow faster with more money in sessions.

So the main aim of my interview is to show these to all new starters:

- Learn every time and look for new solutions

- Clearly check your brokers and people you are working with

- Take it serious and dont start from zero in your pocket
