Three months ago, I met someone on IG who initially just chatted about everyday things. Later, they introduced me to investing in gold and asked me to download the pipsMasterPro platform. In December last year, I deposited 680 USDT for trading, followed by additional deposits of 4533 USDT in January and 20047 USDT in February. This online friend explained that having more principal in the account would stabilize trading nodes and increase profits. Consequently, in March, I deposited another 1505 USDT, and they deposited 56000 USDT on my behalf for trading. Withdrawals had been normal from December last year until March 9th this year. However, on March 10th, this friend said they needed to use the funds they had deposited for me and asked for my help to withdraw them. That's when I discovered that I needed to pay IRD-related taxes to make a withdrawal. Since all my available funds were invested in the pipsMasterPro platform, I had no extra money to pay these taxes. This friend kept urging me to take out a loan, but I already have other loans that haven't been paid off yet, and I didn't want to borrow more money. I'm also worried that I might be getting scammed.
