Abstract:Since most scam platforms were set up within a short period of time, are the established ones certain to be trustworthy?
WikiFX Strategies (20 Mar.) - Since most scam platforms were set up within a short period of time, are the established ones certain to be trustworthy? Since illegal platforms have no regulatory license, are the licensed ones indeed reliable? The answer is “no”. Today WikiFX will show you a few of the established platforms that have seen surging complaints.
Alpari:
It was founded in 1998, with Alpari UK, its parent company, going bankrupt in 2015. The domain name of Alpari UK has been transferred to Alpari Limited, a company registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, although it remains in Alpari's use. Alpari Limited, founded in 2008, at best inherited the domain and brand names of Alpari UK but is no longer what it used to be.
Fxpro:
According to the regulatory information, Fxpro holds a license issued by Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) with a website registered as www.fxpro.co.uk, which will redirect to https://www.fxpro.com/ once visiting. Exposures reveal that all complainants opened accounts on the redirected site rather than the FCA-regulated one.
TigerWit:
It was established in 2015, with several complaints about skipping town and useless website and APP. Despite its FCA Market Making License, it plays the same trick as Fxpro, presenting a website different from the regulated one.
Regulatory and service issues as there are, traders selecting brokers should pay attention to all their qualifications, service reviews, actual conditions, etc.
