According to this latest data, total trading volume for the month on FX Neo reached 98.4 trillion yen, down 15.8% from the previous month. However, the broker had the total number of accounts on FX Neo increased from the previous month, from 709,122 accounts to 711,700 accounts.

Binance Banned

4. Chairman Tongam L Tobing from the Investment Alert Task Force (SWI) of Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK) has banned the Binance cryptocurrency exchange platform from operating in Indonesia because it does not have a permit from the competent authority.

In this case, the supervisor and regulator of crypto asset trading is the Commodity Futures Supervisory Agency (Bappebti).

Tongam said that his party had issued a ban on Binance operations since October 27, 2020. He stated that Binance will continue to be banned as long as there is no permission from Bappebti.

“Information regarding the list of illegal investment companies can be seen on the OJK website,” explained Tongam.

Though there was a pullback from the record achieved in March 2021, the reported trading volume for April remained the second-best on the platform.

According to the retail forex and CFDs broker, the total trading volume for the month came in at $841 billion, which is down by 9.6 percent from the previous month‘s numbers. Exness reported a record volume of $930.6 billion in March, which is even higher than March 2020’s figures by 18.5 percent.
