He is an industry expert with 35 years of work experience.
oneZero, a provider of trading technologies, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Jim Sullivan as the new General Counsel. He will be based in New York and handle the companys global legal functions.
“Im delighted to be joining the oneZero team at this exciting juncture,” Sullivan said.
His appointment came when oneZero is aggressively expanding by introducing new services. It launched an Institutional Hub earlier this year, followed by the release of its Algorithmic Pricing Module. The platform is also offering analytics to evaluate the impact of last look.
“The firm has a portfolio of world class proprietary solutions and a rich vein of untapped intellectual potential. As such it is perfectly placed to expand on the impressive achievements to date,” Sullivan added.
“Im looking forward to working with the senior management, stakeholders, and all my colleagues to help take the firm to the next level.”
Strong Legal Background
Sullivan is well-known in the financial services industry because of his 35 years long career.
He joined oneZero from FX Alliance (FXall), which is now part of the London Stock Exchange Group, where he was the General Counsel for two decades. There, he played a crucial role in guiding the firm to become a leading B2B FX trading platform.
Before that, he spent 15 years with JPMorgan, where he also started his legal career in 1986. He parted with the Wall Street giant in 2001 as a transactional corporate/securities counsel.
“We are very excited to be bringing on a General Counsel with such valuable experience across the Institutional FX space, coupled with a history of working with highly complex systems in both academia and throughout his career,” said oneZero co-founder and CEO, Andrew Ralich.
