Inspection Reason

The inspection team continued its survey campaign as part of the efforts to inspect the compliance and integrity condition within the forex brokerage industry. For this session,The inspection team went to Australia to visit a broker named DPS.  

Office

According to the addresses shown in its regulation details, DPS’ office is based at Level 16, 115 Pitt Street, SYDNEY. A survey team was sent there for a field survey.  

According to the address, the survey staff found this renovated office building.

The surveyors entered the building but did not find information about DPS on a floor directory sign in the lobby. To double check, they still went to the 16th Floor as was suggested by the address. There they saw another directory sign that listed the names of companies on this floor, but still nothing about DPS. The surveyors were later able to conclude that the company was not having an office here after they took a walk along the corridor searching and got no outcome. 

Conclusion

A field survey to the address where DPS claims to be located did not turn out any result. The firm claims to hold a general financial license (298464) from the Australian ASIC.
