"Blow up the bank" Reserve Bank of India Received Threat

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday received a bomb threat via email on its official website. The email was written in the Russian Language. It warns to blow up the bank.

A case has been registered at Mumbai, Mata Ramabai Marg (MRA Marg) police station and an investigation is underway.

On December 11, 2024, Sanjay Malhotra became the 26th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

A similar bomb threat is being sent to Delhi's school, which is popularly known as India's national capital. The schools that received threats in Delhi include Bhatnagar Public School, Cambridge School, Venkatesh Public School, and three Delhi Public Schools in affluent areas.

The Delhi Fire Brigade and authorities responded to the alerts and checked on the premises of the schools in order to ensure the safety of students and staff.
