Abstract:How should investors choose among the many Forex traders? This article takes CPT International as an example and discusses whether the forex trader is trustworthy.
With the rise of the Internet, the foreign exchange market has leapt to become the most liquid and traded financial market in the world. With this, a large number of different kinds of foreign exchange transactions have emerged, so which trader should you trust as an investor? Now let's take a dealer registered in the Belize as an example and talk about whether this forex dealer is reliable.
About CPT International
Registered in theBelize, CPT International is brokerage firm, offering an array of trading options in the global markets, including Forex, Commodities, Indices, Stocks and more.
To get a better understanding of CPT International, WikiFX also paid visit to its official website.
As can be seen from the picture above, its official website claims that CPT provides easy access to global financial markets and a truly international team of experts, and that they are regulated by the International Financial Services Commission of Belize (license number IFSC000314/247).
Based on this, WikiFX also visited the Belize FSC website to look up their purported license numbers, but the result is often the opposite. We could not find any information related to “CPT International”, nor could we find any license information for “IFSC000314/247” there. As it turns out, the CPT International website is not true. It is unbelievable that such public information can be faked. Such dishonest traders are the ones we need to watch out for, because once customers deposit our money in their platform, it means the money will never get back.
In addition, they have implemented what they call an “innovation rewards program” : introducing new customers to receive generous rewards such as luxury cards, holidays, laptops, iphones, ipads, Apple watches, and even becoming partners with CPT International.
Bringing in a new customer for such a large reward is like a fraudulent MLM organization, which can make huge profits from a new customer. A legitimate forex broker could not have made such a fat profit unless it had done something illegal under the banner of “professional forex broker” in order to defraud users.
Moreover, WikiFX also found CPT International and CPT Markets Ltd as one company on their website. More interesting, they alleged that CPT Markets Ltd has close links with CPT Markets UK Limited, which is regulated by the FCA. For this reason, I specially went to visit the FCA's official website, but the outcome was suprising me!
On September 8, the FCA updated its warning list and added CPT Markets Ltd(CPT International) to its blacklist. The FCA confirmed and issued a warning that CPT Internationa was a clone forex broker and that they were running some sort of fraud. They posed as a legitimate company, CPT Markets UK LTD, which claims to have no connection to the “Clone firm”. PT International did so because it was easier to convince investors that it was a legitimate currency trader and fell into their trap.
There can be no doubt that the FCA's warning is the ultimate proof of fraud at CPT International. Move away from entities blacklisted by the FCA and towards licensed brokers that comply with international financial laws.
Now let's search “CPT International” on WikiFX APP to find out more about this broker. WikiFX is an authoritative global inquiry platform providing basic information inquiry and regulatory license inquiry. WikiFX can evaluate the safety and reliability of more than 36,000 global forex brokers. WikiFX gives you a huge advantage while seeking the best forex brokers.
As you can see, based on information given on WikiFX (https://www.wikifx.com/en/dealer/3327311292.html). CPT International has no valid regulatory license and the score is rather negative - only 1.68/10! WikiFX will comprehensively score dealers in five aspects: license index, business index, risk control index, software index and regulatory index. Since CPT International does not have any supervision and does not obtain regulatory license, its license index, risk control index and regulatory index are all 0 points, and the final total score is 1.68 points (full score of 10 points). Investors can understand the overall situation through WikiFX, the higher the score is, the more reliable the broker is.
To sum up, it can be concluded that CPT International has a high transaction risk. Investors are advised to search the above channels for information about the brokerages you tend to trade with before deciding whether to invest, but the easiest way for most investors is to do a Wikipedia search. This is not only to say that the information is very comprehensive, covering all our channels of inquiry information, more importantly, the information is very accurate, can save investors time and tedious steps.
