Abstract:Interactive Brokers enhances its Client Portal with Portuguese support and user experience improvements, including custom logout options and a revamped order ticket.
A leading brand in electronic trading, Interactive Brokers, has revealed a big update to its Client Portal that improves the user experience and adds Portuguese to its list of supported languages. By offering more inclusive language choices, the firm hopes to better serve its broad global clientele and enable more traders to use the platform in their native tongue. This move is part of that endeavour.
To improve the user experience, Interactive Brokers has fixed several technical issues in addition to providing language support. Notably, a prior bug that prevented traders from clearly and unhinderedly accessing crucial market data on the full-page price chart due to the sidecar order ticket in the wide layout option has been fixed.
This update's improved auto-logout customisation is one of its most notable features. In the past, the Client Portal would automatically log users out to protect their credentials after 15 minutes of inactivity.
The latest upgrade gives traders the option to customise how long it takes for the system to log them out—15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
Users may easily access this customisation by selecting their chosen period and saving the changes under the Log Out After Inactivity option within the Welcome Avatar menu. Moreover, users will get a window providing the choice to stay signed in after the predetermined inactivity time has passed. This prompt will show for 30 seconds before the automated logout process begins if no action is made.
The revamp of the Client Portal Order Ticket is another noteworthy improvement. The interface now has a horizontal layout, making it easier to adjust to different screen sizes and minimising the amount of scrolling required while placing orders. The goal of this user-friendly design is to simplify and make trading less laborious and more efficient. The “Quick” order ticket located on the right side of the Client Portal interface allows users to access the vertical orientation in case they still prefer the old design.
These enhancements go beyond helping individual traders; advisors utilising the Advisor Portal will also gain from the revised Order Ticket layout and Advisor Allocations support, proving Interactive Brokers' dedication to offering all-inclusive solutions that satisfy the requirements of its clientele.
The most recent Client Portal improvements from Interactive Brokers demonstrate the company's commitment to improving user experience with innovative technology and services that cater to the needs of its clients. Through responsiveness to user input and ongoing platform enhancements, Interactive Brokers reaffirms its standing as a reliable global partner for advisers and traders.
